Group S is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in automating non-regression tests within a CI/CD context, specifically using Azure DevOps pipelines and preferably Java technology. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our payroll software. We use in-house developed frameworks to perform these tests. Key Responsibilities:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Design, develop, and maintain automated non-regression test scripts to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionalities.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Implement and manage test automation within Azure DevOps pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Develop and execute tests that compare data in databases to validate the accuracy and consistency of data after code changes.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Collaborate with development teams to define and implement effective test strategies and plans.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in the software, working closely with developers to resolve them.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Monitor and report on the performance of automated tests to ensure they run efficiently and effectively within the CI/CD pipeline.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in test automation and CI/CD to continuously improve testing processes.</li></ul> Qualifications:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Proficiency in Java programming and hands-on experience with test automation frameworks.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Practical experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and other CI/CD tools.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Solid understanding of database concepts, with experience using SQL for data validation and comparison.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Native speaker of French or Dutch, with a good command of the other language (spoken and written), enabling effective collaboration in a bilingual environment.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Strong verbal and written communication skills for working closely with cross-functional teams.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced, agile development environment.</li></ul> Desired Skills:<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Familiarity with other programming languages and testing tools.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Experience with performance and load testing.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure.</li></ul> What do we offer?<ul class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__ul"><li value="1" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">An enthusiastic and passionate team of specialists, where collaboration and knowledge sharing are central.</li><li value="2" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Plenty of opportunities to continue developing yourself through training and coaching.</li><li value="3" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Flexible working hours and the option to work partially from home, allowing you to maintain a good work-life balance.</li><li value="4" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">A salary package tailored to your needs, including:</li><li value="5" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">A flexible remuneration plan (Flex@Group S) to personalize your choices.</li><li value="6" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Group and health insurance.</li><li value="7" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Meal vouchers.</li><li value="8" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">Generous holiday leave (33 days).</li><li value="9" class="PlaygroundEditorTheme__listItem">work schedule of 36/38 hours per week</li></ul> Join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality software solutions by ensuring robust and reliable test automation processes.
